I have to write to tell you...
We had my son's Court of Honor last weekend and it was so awesome.
We used your ideas and an Eagle Scout Court book I found with similar
ideas and I now realize I couldn't have done it without the strategic
planning sheets.
I had been told this is as big as a wedding and they weren't kidding1
Our ceremony was small, (20 ended up coming) but we had 6 Eagles in our
nest PLUS my son!
I re-wrote to make the challenge, voice of the eagle, and charge 'fit'
my son with personal information.
I had his favorite English teacher read Voice of the Eagle and she also
was the recipient of the Mentor pin.
My son is 15, and has never had a father, there was not a dry eye when
he presented the Dad pin to his scout master.
There are for boys in my sons troop and after they all did their
projects they went to Hawaii for a week this past summer so we strayed
from a patriotic theme and had a luau theme with Hawaiian music, and
hula dancers.
I am still getting compliments and people asking for copies of the
personalized speeches about my son and scouting.
If I hadn't started early and used your very reasonably priced info, it
wouldn't have been as marvelous.
I had some say they had never been to a better Eagle Court...
I added one thing your wife may be interested in. The giving of the 7
stems for the 7 ranks.
It came from a troop in Virginia. 7 stems of roses for the 7 ranks of
scouting, and there is a story behind it on the internet...about
Mothers. THEN after my Eagle son and oldest daughter who read the story,
gave me the flowers I broke up the presentation bouquet into singles
(I had them made it especially for this) I gave a single stem to each
strong woman who helped me raise my son...His oldest sister, his
mentor teacher, my friends who counselled him...I kept one for me...
We have letters in his scrapbook from astronauts, senators, congressmen,
Barac o bama, Seattle Mariners CEO...
It was beautiful, and I thank you.

thanks for the update message. I can't tell you how much your book helped
my family and me organize our son's own Eagle Court of Honor ceremony! We
had very little time to prepare and the templates were invaluable.

I
bought an Eagle Scout e-book from you which was very helpful – we had our
son’s Eagle Court of Honor last Saturday and several big-wig Scouts in
attendance said it was one of the best Eagle Courts of Honor they’d ever
seen. Thanks in large part to your book. My son, Shane, is just
finishing up his paperwork and is about to get the board of review
scheduled. We are hoping to have his ceremony before the end of the
year. He has been a Scout since Tiger Cubs, so I have a lot of
treasures to sort through and things to prepare for the ceremony. I
have looked through all of the information and I know it is going to be
a valuable resource. Just to have all of that information compiled and
in one place is terrific. Thank you for making it available to us. I
